It is their joint interest to infinitely recruit national young talents from home and abroad. Currently the School has the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Biotechnology. 目前,学院拥有省部级重点实验室及研究中心3个(神经信息教育部重点实验室、神经信息国际联合研究中心、高场磁共振脑成像四川省重点实验室);111引智基地1个(神经信息创新引智基地);校级研究中心2个(信息医学研究中心、信息生物学研究中心)。 At present, the School has 3 provincial and ministerial key laboratories and research centers (Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Neuro information, International Research Center for Neuro information, and Sichuan Province Key Laboratory for High Field MRI Brain Imaging). "Biomedical Engineering" discipline ranks the 10th in the National Discipline Evaluation in 2012. 学院教授25人(博士生导师25人)、副教授25人。其中国内外院士3人,“千人计划”教授(含青年千人)6人,长江/杰青3人,优青1人,新世纪百千万人才2人,新世纪优秀人才8人。 The School has 25 professors (25 PhD supervisors) and 25 associate professors. Among them there are 3 Academicians, 6 Thousand Talent Plan awardees (including Young Thousand Talent professors), 3 distinguished Yangzi River Scholars/winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 1winner of Excellent Young Scientists Fund, 2 New Century Million Talent Plan awardees and 8 New Century Excellent Talents. 神经信息教育部重点实验室: Ministry of Education(MoE) Key Laboratory for Neuro information 神经信息教育部重点实验室于2009年1月由教育部批准建设,它主要依托电子科技大学生物医学工程学科,该学科最新全国排名第10,实验室已于2012年顺利通过教育部验收。2016年评估良好,其对应的 神经科学与行为学 已进入 ESI 1%行列,实验室定位于在神经-信息交叉领域,成为能够代表国家研究水平,具有很强的自主创新能力,服务国家重大需求的科研中心、学术交流中心和人才培养基地。 The MoE Key Laboratory for was approved by the Ministry of Education in January 2009, which is mainly relying upon the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the University. The discipline was ranked 10th in the country. In 2012, the laboratory was successfully assessed and accepted by the Ministry of Education. Four years later, the Key Laboratory was evaluated again and awarded “Good” by its achievements in all aspects. Soon afterwards, the discipline of “Neuroscience and Behavior” from the lab has reached the top 1% in Essential Science Indicators(ESI), which provides an authoritative view of the lab’s academic influence over the world. The laboratory is conducting research in the field of neuro-information interdisciplinary field and can represent the research level of the country. It is a hub for scientific research, academic exchange and talent training, and has a strong capacity for independent innovation to serve the country's major needs. 电子科技大学信息医学研究中心: Center for Information in Medicine, UESTC 信息医学研究中心是电子科技大学在“神经信息”教育部重点实验室和“高场磁共振脑成像”四川省重点实验室的基础上,进一步引入信息、生物和医学领域的研究骨干,于2014年7月建立的跨学院独立运行由学校直管的科研机构。中心的核心使命是,促进信息科学与生物医学之间的交叉,进而用信息科技促进生物医学的发展,同时通过借鉴生命过程中的信息原理,寻找信息科技发展的新动力。 Together with Ministry of Education(MoE) Key Laboratory for Neuro information and Sichuan Province Key Laboratory for High Field MRI Brain Imaging, The Center for Information in Medicine aims to further introduce major scientists in information, biology and medicine. In July 2014, the Center was established over three schools and has been independently run by the University. The core mission of the Center is to promote the cross-field research between information science and biomedicine, and then apply information technology to advance the development of biomedicine. Meanwhile, by drawing on the information principle of life, new drive will be demanded to further develop information technology. 电子科技大学信息生物学研究中心: Center for Informational Biology, UESTC 信息生物学研究中心是电子科技大学依托生命科学与技术学院的生物学学科,进一步整合计算机科学与工程、自动化工程、光电信息等交叉领域的研究骨干,于2016年7月建立的跨学院、独立运行由学校直管的科研机构。中心的核心使命是通过信息技术与生物学的深度交叉,推动由计算与数据驱动的,综合数学、物理、化学、生物、计算机等各学科理论方法,整合生命现象各层次的信息生物学研究范式的发展,显著提升学校在生物学与生物化学学科的水平与实力,为学校“双一流”建设、为国家与地方的经济社会发展,做出贡献。 The Center for Informational Biology was founded in July 2016 integrating multi-disciplines over different schools and independently run by the University. It is based mainly on Biology from the School of Life Science and Technology but also attracts excellent researchers from computer science and engineering, automation engineering, optoelectronic information etc. The core mission of the Center is through deep integration of information technology and biology, to promote the calculation and data-driven, integrated mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer and other disciplines theory; to develop the integration of life phenomena at all levels of information biology research paradigm. In the end, the Center aims to significantly promote the University’s research ability in both biology and biochemistry, and to contribute to the University’s “double first-class” status and the national and local economical and social development. 高场磁共振脑成像四川省重点实验室: Sichuan Province Key Laboratory for High Field MRI Brain Imaging 高场磁共振脑成像四川省重点实验室于2015年4月经四川省科技厅批准立项建设,由电子科技大学和奥泰医疗系统有限责任公司共建。该实验室在校内主要依托生命科学与技术学院,研究基地分别设在电子科技大学和奥泰医疗系统有限责任公司,实验室主任由国家“千人计划”入选者、奥泰医疗系统有限责任公司董事长、学校特聘教授邹学明担任,常务副主任由长江学者、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、电子科技大学脑功能磁共振成像中心主任陈华富教授担任,学术委员会主任由中国科学院陈霖院士担任。高场磁共振脑成像是物理、计算机、材料、临床医学和认知科学的前沿交叉领域,开展高场磁共振脑成像技术研究可望催生新的产业链,促进脑疾病转化医学的发展,也将为我国在磁共振系统技术开发、脑成像技术的临床转化等应用基础研究、人才培养和学术交流方面提供重要支撑。 Sichuan Province Key Laboratory for High Field MRI Brain Imaging was founded in April 2015 by the approval of Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Department and co-sponsored by UESTC and Alltech Medical Systems Co., Ltd. The Lab mainly relies on the School of Life Science and Technology in UESTC and has research bases both in the University and the Alltech company. The director of the laboratory is Professor Zou Xuemin, who is National "Thousand Talent Plan" awardee, Chairman of Alltech Medical System and UESTC Specially employed professor. The Executive Deputy Director is Professor Chen Huafu, who is a distinguished Yangzi River Scholar, the National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund Winner, and Director of UESTC MRI Center. The Head of the Academic Committee of Lab is Professor Chen Lin, Academician of Chinese Science Academy. High field magnetic resonance brain imaging is the forefront of the field of physics, computer, material, clinical medicine and cognitive science. The study of high field magnetic resonance brain imaging is expected to spawn a new industrial chain to promote the development of transformational medicine in brain disorders. It will also provide important support for the application of basic research, talents training and academic exchange in the development of magnetic resonance system technology and clinical transformation of brain imaging technology.
